Our Basic Needs​

Basic Needs

Basic needs team aims at fulfilling food, water, medicine, clothing, and shelter needs of Tigrayan children. DEKNA is currently engaged in supporting children in financial and material donations. The long term objective of DEKNA is to establish a DEKNA children’s village; where orphaned children will get all basic needs of life including a loving guardian.

To respond the urgently needed humanitarian need, Dekna is working with local NGOs in Tigray to reach out children in need. Below is one of the donations made to children in Mekelle, Tigray in November 2021 in collaboration with Kezahta Media host Bereket.
