Annie Hinsche-Wilson-Karges is the mother of two sons and one daughter who all became members of The Beach Boys in various capacities. Hinsche joined the Beach Boys as a session musician (primarily on keyboards) in 1971, and also toured with the band extensively. The band harmonized with isolated vocal tracks of Carl performing "God Only Knows" and of Dennis singing "Forever", as the band's crew projected images of the individual Wilson brothers on a large screen behind the band onstage. Because a veritable coterie of session musicians (Glen Campbell, the late Tommy Tedesco) appeared on their backing tracks, Carl often didn't receive the credit he deserved. He was previously married to Gina Martin and Anna Katherine (Annie) Hinsche. From September 2020 until this past August, Hinsche hosted the regular Facebook Live series Live From Billys Place. He banked 74 episodes with such guests as Shaffer, Bruce Johnson of the Beach Boys, Peter Noone of Hermans Hermits, and actor/musician John Stamos. In 1988, Brian Wilson finally released a solo album and the Beach Boys were inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. Conditionally, anyway. He was 70.
